BIG PRIZES to be AWARDED at the CENTURY MOTORSPORTS AND MARINE 122 at ROCKY MOUNTAIN RACEWAY

Bakersfield, CA – The prize list for the winning driver at the September 12, Century Motorsports & Marine 122 continues to grow as the event nears.

First, with the support of John Gomez of Century Motorsport and Marine, the event will be one of the richest races of the year for both the Rocky Mountain Challenge Series and SPEARS Southwest Tour Series, with $10,000 going to the winner.

Now the event’s presenting sponsor, Retro Custom Metals, has added a unique prize to the winner’s list, a custom-built copper range hood, valued at $10,000. Retro Custom Metals is a leader in the architectural sheet metal industry, specializing in custom copper, zinc, and steel roofing and interior & exterior accents for residents or business.

“We wanted to create a unique prize for this event, much like the grand father clock at Martinsville,” stated David Mulcahy, owner of Retro Custom Metals. “The custom range hood for the winner will be a custom design specially built for the winner’s home. We want to make this race something that will get bigger and become an annual event for us.”

The Century Motorsports & Marine 122 presented by Retro Custom Metals is a first time event that has brought the teams of the SPEARS Southwest Tour Series and of the Rocky Mountain Challenge Series together for one big race. Teams will receive championship points for their respective series, relative to how a driver finishes against the drivers from his or her home series.
