Feb 05, 2010 - Victory Circle Chassis and Parts Continues Support
Bakersfield, CA – For 2010 Victory Circle Chassis and Parts will continue their support of the SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series Rookie-of-the-Year award. Since 2004, Victory Circle has awarded the SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series Rookie-of-the-Year with an Elite Tour Chassis.
“Victory Circle was founded on building tour car chassis and we’re glad to support the SRL and their commitment to continuing the tour.” stated Victory Circle’s Marc Lundgren. “We’ve had more orders for tour cars this off-season than we have seen over the past five years, so we are behind the SRL and we’ll do all we can to help it continue to grow.”
The number of 2010 Victory Circle Chassis Rookie-of-the-Year contenders is at near record levels, with nine drivers currently eligible for the 2010 title.
“Last year we had three eligible rookies that competed for the Victory Circle chassis, this season we expect as many as ten drivers taking a shot at the Rookie-of-the-Year title.” stated the SRL’s Larry Collins. “Victory Circle has always been a big supporter of the Southwest Tour and we greatly appreciate their continued commitment to the SRL.”
The SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series will begin its tenth season of competition on Saturday, March 27th at All-American Speedway in Roseville, CA.
