Jun 09, 2010 - Stockton 99 Speedway - Release/Information

This Saturday, June 12th, Stockton 99 Speedway Presents the Spears SRL Southwest Tour Series in the Mid-Valley Iron & Metals 130. Also on the ticket for the evening will be the Grand American Modifieds, Legends on the Pacific, Basically-4-Cylinders, Bombers, and Mini Cups.

The SRL Southwest Tour Series comes rumbling back to town to try their skills, once again, on “The Toughest Test In The West,” Stockton 99 Speedway. This race will absolutely have you on the edge of your seat and leave you breathless by the end as local boys the likes of 2009 NASCAR Rookie of the Year Jacob Gomes, 2004 SRL Champion and second generation driver Steve Belletto, Victory Circle Chassis Rookie of the Year candidate and third generation driver Ross Strmiska, along with West Coast Great and Two-Time NASCAR Camping World Series Champion Eric Holmes battle it out against SRL Greats the likes of 2008 Series Champion Jim Pettit and 2007 NASCAR Camping World Series West Champion Mike David, along with many more extremely talented drivers. This will definitely be one you won’t want to miss as the locals try to defend their turf in their house against the very best the West Coast has to offer. See you Saturday at the Speedway!

Pit Gates open and registration begins at noon with practice commencing at 2:00 PM. The Grandstands open at 4:00 PM with qualifying set for 4:30 PM and green flag racing slated for 6:00 PM. Ticket prices for the evening will be as follows:

General Admission (16+) $20

Juniors (11-15) $15

Kids 10 & Under FREE

Seniors (60+) $15

Military (W/ Military ID) $15

Family $55

FRIDAY PRACTICE: Practice will be limited to the SRL Southwest Tour Series on June 11th for Friday Night Oval Testing. In an effort to keep costs down for the fans and drivers with the rising costs of operations, it has become necessary to keep the grandstands closed on practice day.

Also, everyone needs to mark their calendars for Saturday, July 10th, when Stockton 99 Speedway Presents Bo Bice Live In Concert with Special Guests Stone Corral and Last Stage. Gates open at 2 PM with the show starting at 6 PM. Concert goers and Race enthusiasts alike will definitely enjoy this Ground Breaking Event.
