ROCHA BACK with NTS MOTORSPORTS for 2016

KERNERSVILLE, N.C. (December 17, 2015) – NTS Motorsports is proud to announce that seventeen-year-old Blaine Rocha will continue to be behind the wheel of the NTS Motorsports #21 Chevrolet in the SPEARS Southwest Tour Series for 2016.

Oakdale, California’s Rocha, completed his first full season in the SPEARS Southwest Tour Series in 2015, finishing sixth in the series standings, with two third place finishes on the year. Rocha started 2015 with a fourth place finish for NTS in the Winter Showdown at Kern County Raceway Park, and also traveled to Indianapolis for the “CRA Fall Brawl” at Lucas Oil Raceway, where he qualified on the pole and went on to finish third in his first CRA start.

“We had good speed at all the races, but we had some tough luck in the first part of the season,” stated Rocha. “It was great to start the year with a fourth at the Winter Showdown, and the experience of going to compete with the CRA was awesome. We feel like we’ll have a good shot at the SRL championship in 2016, especially with our alliance with Port City Racecars.”

Rocha will once again be paired with crew chief Mark Reynolds of Mooresville, North Carolina, under the guidance of NTS Motorsports west coast manager, Gary Collins.

For 2015, NTS drivers Greg Voigt, Parker Stephens, and Rocha finished the year, in second, third and sixth in the 2015 SPEARS Southwest Tour Series championship. Stephens also picked up the 2015 SPEARS Southwest Tour Series Rookie of the Year Award honors, as well.

For 2016, NTS Motorsports will continue to compete with three full-time teams in the SPEARS Southwest Tour Series, in addition to fielding teams in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and the K&N Pro Series.
