PIT POLICIES: 

• Minors must fill out a minors release form and be accompanied by an adult at all times.
• Observation Decks on top of trailers are permitted only if they have a railing around the deck.  Observation decks may be used up to the time that qualifying begins on Saturday, and then must be taken down.
• There is a ‘Yellow Line” painted the length of the pit area 15 feet from the pit lane wall.   Everyone must stay behind this “Yellow Line”.
• No private vehicles allowed in the infield pit area.

TIMES/FEES:

Friday – Gates 3pm, Practice 6pm to 10pm  ($200/car – no Pit Pass Fee for Friday)

Saturday – Gates 12noon, Driver’s Meeting 1:30pm, Practice 2pm, Qualifying 6:30pm  Pit Passes:  $35 SRL Members / $45 non-Members

TIRES:  The SPEARS Southwest Tour Series will utilize the following at Kern County Raceway Park:

IMPORTANT – TIRE PRESSURE:  DUE TO THE EXTREME TIRE LOAD CREATED AT KERN COUNTY RACEWAY – RECOMMENDED STARTING TIRE PRESSURE IS 20 PSI (LEFTS) and 30 PSI (RIGHTS).  Highly recommended by Hoosier to not deviate from these numbers.

First time 2013 winner bonus:      $500

Any car in the Top 25 in current SRL point standings will get an additional $250 in start money – will not include teams that finish in the Top 3 in the event.

(If you are in the Top 25 in points, and on the SPEARS Frequent Flyer $1,000 Program, you will get a minimum $1,250 to start the race.)

SUNOCO FUEL:  SUNOCO Standard 110 is the spec fuel of the SPEARS Southwest Tour Series.  Call Toby at Kern County Raceway Park to pre-order at 661-330-3345.

AUTOGRAPH SESSION:  There will be an autograph session prior to SPEARS Southwest Tour Series qualifying.  The fans will come down to the pit area.
