Jeff Bischofberger Enters Finale

Jeff Bischofberger Enters Finale

Jeff Bischofberger will enter the final event, of the Spears Srl Southwest Tour Series, with an abundance of confidence, after finishing third in the Senators Cup Super Late Model event, at the Bullring @ Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Bischofberger finished behind three-time SPEARS Southwest Tour Series Champion Derek Thorn, and teammate Jeremy Doss, in his new JD Motorsports, Senneker Performance, Earnest Performance, S & S Enterprises, Chevy SS. With that performance, Bischofberger will be looking for victory lane on November 18th at the “Bullring”.

“I am excited to be running the new Senneker car out of the JD Motorsports camp”, Bischofberger told the SPEARS Southwest Tour Series. “We are going there to win, and anything short of a win will be a disappointment. The competition level will be high, as always, but I feel the team is better prepared than ever.”

The “SPEARS Southwest Tour Season Finale 125 presented by Pinnacle Peak Steakhouse San Dimas”, at the “Bullring”, will be Bischofberger’s second SRL start of the 2017 season. He finished 12th, in the season opening event, at the Irwindale Event Center. In 2015, Jeff was the winner of the SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series “51 FIFTY Energy Drink 151″ at Stockton 99 Speedway. In 2017, he was a victor, in his only season start, in the Pacific Challenge Series (PCS)event at Stockton. In doing so, he become only the sixth driver to win in both series. The list includes Derek Thorn, Jeremy Doss, Brandon White Racing, Eric Schmidt, and Jacob Gomes. Four in that group were champions in either the SRL, or the PCS.

Jeff will be joining two-time SRL Series Championship runner-up Jeremy Doss, in a two car effort for JD Motorsports. Mike Doss will serve as the Crew Chief, and Allen Bischofberger will take on the Car Chief responsibilities for the effort. Jeff will be making series start number 20, and his fifth at the “Bullring”. His best finish was an eighth place effort in 2015, but he led in two of those events, totaling 20 laps led. Jeff never finished outside the top 15 in those four events. If Bullring start number five goes his way, he and his teammate, Jeremy Doss, will be sitting one and two at the conclusion of the 125 lap event.
