Andy Allen Will Make His Fourth Start of 2019

Andy Allen will make his fourth start of the Spears Srl Southwest Tour Series start of the 2019 season, when the series heads to Irwindale Speedway for the second and last time this year on July 20th. The four starts is a career high for the Garden Grove, CA driver who has only had intermittent appearances in the series. This event will take on additional meaning for Allen, as his family owned company is a primary sponsor of the “RJ Allen Inc. 100 presented by Pinnacle Peak Steakhouse San Dimas”.

Allen is a previous Super Late Model winner at the facility, having one prior SRL start at his home track. In March, Allen finished 20th of 35 competitors who appeared at the season opener for the series. Andy will be looking to improve upon that finish, and will once again sport his familiar #22a at the event.

With the number change, Allen hopes his luck will change as well, after accidents sidelined him at both of the last two events. Allen will look to bounce back and be in the hunt for the $5,000 winners check, thanks to the “Winner’s Bonus” presented by Performance Friction Brakes.

Allen is thankful for the support of his friends, team and sponsors.

“I would like to thank my race crew and CP Motorsports, for putting together an awesome car”, Allen stated. “Also, HARD yoga and Saje Wellness for keeping me healthy. I have to thank my friends and family for coming out to support me as well as my kids for being my number one fans.”
