Wood on a roll…
Jack Wood has hit his stride in 2020, as far as speed on the 1/2-mile tracks of the Spears Srl Southwest Tour Series. Wood has qualified second, at both Irwindale Speedway and Kern County Raceway, backing up the Irwindale effort with a third-place finish behind Derek Thorn and Preston Peltier. Wood will now look for a repeat effort, as the series visits Irwindale for the second time this season. The “Spears Manufacturing 100 presented by Earnest Performance” is up next on July 18th, where Wood will be shooting for the $5,000 winner’s share.
