Pollard Won Back-to-Back Winter Showdowns

The name Bubba Pollard is synonymous with winning, when it comes to asphalt Super Late Model racing. Pollard reinforced the comparison when he visited the “Winter Showdown” in 2015 and 2016. Pollard survived a back-and-forth duel with Derek Thorn in 2015 to grab the $25,000 win and fended off both Thorn and David Mayhew to earn the victory in 2016. He returned in 2017 to finish sixth, as Derek Thorn became the only winner to lead every lap. Pollard led a combined 185 laps in his two wins and continues to win big events to this day.
