Brown Seeks to Score a Big Blow in this Weekend’s Bischofberger Brawl

Media Release: SPEARS Pro Late Model Series presented by Sigma Performance Services
Ukiah, CA racer Cole Brown enters Round #10 of the SPEARS Pro Late Model Series presented by Sigma Performance Services seventh in the championship standings, after missing the sixth event of the season, at Kern County Raceway Park. Brown started the season struggling for good finishes in the series, finishing outside the top-10 in his first three starts. But the Jr. Late Model graduate at Madera Speedway turned the corner at the May event at The New Stockton 99 Speedway. Since then, he has a second, third and three seventh place finishes. Brown will look to continue that trend at the “Bischofberger Brawl 166” at Stockton 99 Speedway this weekend, after a third in August.
The rich event will pay $15,000 to the winner of the 24-car Feature. 32 Pro Late Models have entered this weekend’s action with champions strewn throughout the field. Brown fell just short of a championship at Madera Speedway in 2020, finishing third in the standings, after failing to score a point in the season finale. He is excited to compete against a strong list of competitors for a big prize at the end of the day. He is also thankful for those who worked so had to put the event together.
“I want to start off by thanking the Bischofberger brothers for putting up an event of that caliber”, Brown exclaimed! “I feel excited and focused to be racing for $15K. I feel we are going into this race just as any other race….focusing on how to improve our program, to be one of the top racers! I believe that we have a good chance at doing well in this race, and can’t thank my crew and sponsors enough for their support!”
Brown will strive to continue his strong second half of the season this Saturday night. With some good fortune, good equipment, good driving and a solid strategy, Brown could be the one to knock out the competition in this weekend’s brawl.
Saturday will find the General Admission Gates open at 4:00 pm (PST) with Qualifying for SPEARS Pro Late Models scheduled for 4:45 pm. Racing will start at 6:00 pm with the Feature Event for the Jr B4’s kicking off the action. The Last Chance Race for the SPEARS Pro Late Models next. The B4’s will take to the track for their Main Event followed by the Bombers. The “Bischofberger Brawl 166” will round out the action with $15,000 going to the winner. There will be a halftime break for the competitors to take on fuel and make adjustments.
For those who can’t make it to the track, the event can be viewed LIVE at www.SpearsRacing.TV and on a delayed basis at MAVTV.
