SPEARS Southwest Tour Series 2015 Championship Finale

1 – One race remains to determine the 2015 SPEARS Southwest Tour Series championship – this Saturday at The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

 

3 – Three points separate the top two drivers in the championship standings, Greg Voigt (1202) and Jacob Gomes (1199).

 

5 – Five point increments awarded between finishing positions 2nd through 5th.

 

6 – Six drivers have a mathematical chance at the 2015 championship entering the Bullring (Voigt -1202, Gomes – 1199, Parker Stephens – 1177, Carlos Vieira – 1155, Ryan Cansdale – 1127, and Blaine Rocha – 1095).

 

7 – Seven drivers are scheduled to make their first SPEARS Southwest Tour Series start of the year this weekend.

 

8 – This will be the eighth time The Bullring has hosted the SPEARS Southwest Tour Series championship finale.

 

10 – A ten-point difference is awarded between first and second place finishes, 180 to 170.

2014 –2014 Colorado State NASCAR Champion, Dominic Ursetta will make his first SPEARS Southwest Tour Series start of the year at this Saturday’s season finale.

 

2015 – The 2015 Pacific Coast Challenge Series Champion, John Moore will make his first career SPEARS Southwest Tour Series start, along with his son Cole.

 

5000 – The winner’s share of this weekend’s prize money is $5,000.
