CELEBRITY LINE UP IS SET FOR ‘RACE FOR AUTISM’ CELEBRITY RACE on JUNE 18th

Entertainment and high-level motorsports competition come together for one big night at Irwindale Speedway on Saturday, June 18th.

 

In a one-of-a-kind event, “Summer Motorsports Mayhem” will feature the SPEARS (SRL) Southwest Tour Series, the fastest stock cars to ever race on the Irwindale Speedway half-mile oval, plus a full Monster Truck competition featuring Bounty Hunter, McGruff and Iron Outlaw. The night will also include stuntman Dr. Danger, a finalist on ‘America’s Got Talent’, and the “Raging Inferno” Jet Monster Truck.

 

Summer Motorsports Mayhem will also feature, the Justice Brothers “Race for Autism – Celebrity Race” featuring a line-up of Hollywood stars racing one another in full size, NASCAR style – 450 horsepower Stock Cars. The Stars who made the final ten positions to compete on June 18th in the Justice Brother “Race for Autism – Celebrity Race” include:

 

Film and television star Leah Remini, who co-starred nine seasons on the ‘King of Queens’ opposite Kevin James.

 

Frankie Muniz, who made a name for himself as the star of ‘Malcolm in the Middle’, which led to numerous television and film roles.

 

Adrian Pasdar, known for playing the lead on the TV seriesProfit’, and for his roles in Near Dark, Carlito’s Way, Mysterious Ways and as Nathan Petrelli on Heroes.

 

Jason Ritter, the son of actress Nancy Morgan and late actor John Ritter, known for his roles as Kevin Girardi in the television series Joan of Arcadia, as Sean Walker in the NBC series The Event. He played the recurring role of Mark Cyr in the NBC television series Parenthood, for which he received an Emmy Award nomination.

 

Jeff “Swampy” Marsh is an American animator associated with several animated television series, working for ‘The Simpsons’ and ‘King of the Hill’. He also helped produce Phineas and Ferb and is currently producing a new series for Disney called Milo Murphy’s Law.

 

Beth Littleford is best known for her work on the first four years of Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show,” she now stars on Disney’s Emmy-nominated “Dog With A Blog.” Littleford has also guest-starred on numerous television programs such as The West Wing, Spin City, Family Guy, and Frasier.

 

Blake Michael is perhaps best known for his role as Charlie Delgado in the Disney Channel film Lemonade Mouth, as well as for his role as Tyler James in the Disney Channel series Dog with a Blog, which earned him the 2013 Young Artist Award for Best Leading Young Actor in a Television Series.

 

Kelly Hu is an actress, voice artist and former fashion model. Hu was a former Miss Teen USA and Miss Hawaii USA. Hu starred in the American television soap opera Sunset Beach and as Michelle Chan on the police drama, Nash Bridges. She has also starred in numerous films including The Scorpion King, Cradle 2 the Grave and The Tournament.

Irwindale Speedway will open its spectator gates at 4pm on Saturday, June 18th. The SPEARS Southwest Tour Series qualifying will take place at 4:30pm, followed by the on track ‘Ultimate Pit Party’ at 5:30pm, where fans can get autographs and photos with the drivers and celebrities, see the Monster Trucks up close and be part of the pre-race driver introductions on track.

 

The night’s competition begins at 7:00pm sharp, with the Monster Trucks, the SPEARS Southwest Tour Series “51 FIFTY Energy Drink 100”, the “Race for Autism – Celebrity Race,” followed by the blow-your-hair back excitement of the “Raging Inferno” Jet Monster Truck and the death defying antics of Dr. Danger.
