Congratulations to Jeremy Doss Motorsports

Congratulations to Jeremy Doss Motorsports

Congratulations to Jeremy Doss Motorsports for coming home victorious in the “Asparagus Cup 125” from Stockton 99 Speedway in the SPEARS Pro Late Model Series presented by Sigma Performance Services. Doss took the lead after a lap 15 restart, using the outside line to pass teammate Mike Lovell. Doss was able to hold off Blaine Rocha on multiple restarts, in a typical wild night of racing at the historic speedway. Doss would cross the line ahead of Rocha, Logan Zampa, Dylan Zampa and Tyler Reif.

“It was definitely an action packed race, especially the first half”, Doss recalled. “I’m sure the fans enjoyed it.”
Despite leading all but 15 laps, Doss had to fend off former Spears Srl Southwest Tour Series rival Blaine Rocha. The two squared off on multiple restarts, but Doss was able to prevail in the preferred outside groove. Still it gave Doss reason for concern as the two competitors neared the end of the event, as Doss said.
“I knew we had a great racecar and Blaine always raced me clean, but when you get late into a race with cautions, I always get a little worried”.

Doss took home $7,500 for his efforts on the 1/4-mile oval after also winning his Qualifying Heat. Mike Beeler was the winner of the second Qualifying Heat, but struggled in the Feature Event, getting caught up in several incidents, ultimately finishing 22nd. The second five consisted of John Moore, Parker Malone, Barry Karr, Matthew Wendt and Tanner Reif.
