Early Start Time for Fall Shootout at KCRP
Bakersfield, CA (October 8th, 2015) – With 6 divisions, 260 laps of competition, and a large field of cars expected, the management team at Kern County Raceway has made the decision to move the start time of the 2nd Annual CITGO Lubricants Fall Shootout up an hour. Opening ceremonies for the October 17th race will begin at 6:00 pm, with the first green flag flying at approximately 6:15pm.
“With the tremendous amount of racing we have scheduled for this event, we wanted to make sure that the race fans would be able to enjoy all of the events without running late into the evening” said Lee Baumgarten, GM/President of Kern County Raceway. “With this earlier start time we can ensure that fans will experience great racing, and have an amazing time”.
Highlighting the 2nd Annual CITGO Lubricants Fall Shootout is the Spears Southwest Tour “DC’S RV Center 100” presented by Race for Autism, as well as NASCAR Late Models with a 50 lap feature, The NASCAR Spec Mod 40 lap main event, The SRL S-2 Series and Track Championship races for the INEX Legends and The 911 Racing Series. Ticket prices for the CITGO Lubricants Fall Shootout are $20 for Adults, $10 for Children 6 – 15, Active Military, Seniors 65 and Better, Kids 5 and under are free. A Family Pass, 2 Adults and 2 Children are $35 (Box Office Only) Reserved Seats are $25. Gates open at 4pm, with Racing at 6 pm.
