Congratulations to 2015 Spears Srl Southwest Tour Series Champion Jacob Gomes, for earning the at Irwindale Speedway. Gomes went from sixth to third in a tight battle with Kole Raz, Brandon Farrington and Christian McGhee to earn the award, eventually finishing second. Gomes has had a strong start to the 2021 SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series season, scoring three consecutive top-five efforts and sitting second in the championship standings, only 10 points behind Preston Peltier. Next up for the series will be Gomes home track, the The New Stockton 99 Speedway, where he finished fifth in his last start.
