FORMER IRWINDALE WINNERS

Jonathon Gomez won at Irwindale on July 17th, 2010 in route to his SPEARS Southwest Tour Series Championship.  Gomez also competed in the K&N Pro Series event that same weekend in Portland, Oregon.  Gomez traveled over 4200 miles during the weekend. Flying from his Idaho home to Ontario, practiced his SRL car at Irwindale Speedway, then flew to Portland on Friday evening, back to Ontario Saturday afternoon in time to qualify at Irwindale, won the race, then flew back to Portland for Sunday’s K&N event.
