Four-time NASCAR Whelen All-American Series State of California Champion Trevor Huddleston

Four-time NASCAR Whelen All-American Series State of California Champion Trevor Huddleston, has entered next weekend’s RJ Allen 150 Presented by Traffic Management SRL Tour. Huddleston was NASCAR’s National Championship Runner-up for the Whelen Series in 2017, compiling 22 victories during the regional window. Huddleston will be making his fourth Spears Srl Southwest Tour Series presented by Lucas Oil start at Irwindale Speedway, and will be looking for his first series victory after 11 total starts.
Trevor is coming off a sixth-place championship finish in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West Series in 2018. He just missed out on the Rookie-of-the-Year Award, to Haley Deegan, concluding the season with 11 top-10 finishes in 14 starts. Huddleston is coming off a seventh-place finish in the West’s season opener. The event came at the unfamiliar to him, Dirt Track, at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, as Huddleston will once again be driving for Bob Bruncati, and the Sunrise Ford Team.Heading into the March 23rd SRL season opening event, Huddleston has become a master at Irwindale Speedway, capturing nearly 50 feature event wins at his home track. He took home another Late Model victory on March 9th, during a double feature night at the facility. His best SRL finish thus far, also came at his home track, a second to Derek Thorn in 2017. It is no surprise, therefore, that he is eager to return to the half-mile multi-groove oval.“I’m really excited for this weekend’s race at Irwindale Speedway”, Huddleston stated. “It’s a beautiful facility, and an amazing racetrack. I believe it’s a perfect racetrack, especially for the “Tour” style racecars. We have run pretty good there in the past, and I’m hoping we can build on that, and put on a good show. It’s gonna be tough, especially with the caliber of drivers racing. It’s gonna be an action-packed race, with a very stacked field.” Trevor Huddleston Racing is thankful to his supporters and sponsors, for making this effort possible.“I just can’t thank everyone enough for helping me get to this race. High Point Racing, Sunrise Ford, RACECAR Factory, The Loe Pit Stop and Terraclean have been great supporters of our racing program.”The SPEARS Southwest Tour Series will run twin 50 lap features, in the “RJ Allen Inc. 100 presented by Traffic Management, Inc.”. The driver with the best average finish will collect the $5,000 prize, thanks to the “Winner’s Bonus” by Senneker Performance. The SRL will be joined by the Spears Modified Series, who will run twin 40 lap features. The SouthWest Tour Truck Series will make up the rest of the card, for a full evening of racing.
