High Point Racing, RACECAR Factory, Sunrise Ford Super Late Model
Trevor Huddleston will trade in his Sunrise Ford ARCA Menards Series West car, for his High Point Racing, RACECAR Factory, Sunrise Ford Super Late Model, to compete with the Spears Srl Southwest Tour
Series this weekend. Huddleston will be looking for the $5,000 win, thanks to the Winner’s Bonus from Performance Friction Brakes, in the “JM ENVIRONMENTAL, INC. 150 presented by51 FIFTY” atALL AMERICAN SPEEDWAY – ROSEVILLE CA.
Huddleston has attempted all but one SRL event this season, with a best finish of fifth, at his home track, Irwindale Speedway. The Agoura Hills, CA driver is coming off two consecutive second place finishes in the ARCA Menards Series West, followed by another top-five at Douglas County Speedway. He currently sits fourth in that series’ championship standings. Huddleston has two victories in the “West” Series, but he will be looking for win number one, in his 16th start, in SPEARS Southwest Tour Series competition. Huddleston last participated at All American Speedway last October, when he came home third in the “West” event. He will be hoping to improve by a couple of positions.
For this event, Huddleston will be teamed up with SRL Rookie-of-the-Year contender Dean Thompson. Watch for this duo to make a strong effort this weekend, as they compete against a talent ladened 25-car field.
The “JM Environmental 150 presented by 51 FIFTY LTM.” will be Round #5 of the season for the SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series. It will pay $5,000 to the winner, thanks to long-time series sponsor Performance Friction Brakes. Practice for the series is scheduled to begin at 12:30 pm (PST) on Saturday, with Qualifying at 4:15 pm and Opening Ceremonies at 5:00 pm. The SRL Super Late Models will be joined by the Mini Cup / Bandoleros, Late Models, F4’s, Super Stocks, Jr. Late Models and Limited Modified, for a huge night of racing. For those not in attendance, the SPEARS Southwest Tour Series event will be live streamed on www.SpearsRacing.TV. The local NASCAR Divisions will be live streamed at www.AllAmericanSpeedway.TV.
