Hite will make his 2020 Spears SRL Southwest Tour Series debut…

Veteran Super Late Model racer Mike Hite will make his 2020 Spears SRL Southwest Tour Series debut on August 15th at ALL AMERICAN SPEEDWAY – ROSEVILLE  CA in the “JM Environmental 150 presented by 51 FIFTY”. Hite will be making overall series start number three, after participating in the Pacific Challenge Series Super Late Model division from 2014 to 2018. The Sacramento, CA based driver will be brandishing a brand-new whip at Roseville, for Round #5 of the SRL season. “The new Super Late Model will be wrapped late next week with a full new look”, Hite told the SPEARS Southwest Tour Series. “The first time it will see the track will be on the 14th (Friday). The car  is a new VanDoorn Racing Development car and it is powered by a Ford Hammer Racing Engines. For making this possible, I would like to thank Lorca Performance, Pimentel Fright Lines and Stor-4-Less RV Storage.

Hite participated at the All American Speedway SRL event in 2019. He finished 16th in the 25-car field. Overall, he has 14 career Super Late Model touring series starts at the facility, with a best finish of fifth. He has scored five top-10 finishes in those starts. Hite will be looking for another top-10 finish in his new Super Late Model and a strong start to his 2020 season. The “JM Environmental 150 presented by 51 FIFTY.” will be Round #5 of the season, for the SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series. It will pay $5,000 to the winner, thanks to long-time series sponsor Performance Friction Brakes. Practice for the series is scheduled to begin at 12:30 pm (PST) on Saturday, with Qualifying at 4:15 pm and Opening Ceremonies at 5:00 pm. The SRL Super Late Models will be joined by the Mini Cup / Bandoleros, Late Models, F4’s, Super Stocks, Jr. Late Models and Limited Modified, for a huge night of racing.
