JM ENVIRONMENTAL WILD WEST SHOOTOUT

OFFERS BIG BONUSES AS PART OF SPEARS SOUTHWEST TOUR SERIES 20TH SEASON

Bakersfield, CA – There are some big announcements regarding the “20th SEASON” celebration of the SPEARS (SRL) Southwest Tour Series in 2020.  The first of those announcements came this past weekend at Madera Speedway, when the “JM Environmental Wild West Shootout” was announced.

The “JM Environmental Wild West Shootout” will consist of three races that are part of the SPEARS Southwest Tour Series championship season in 2020.  The racetracks and dates of the ‘Shootout’ are All-American Speedway on May 16th, Stockton Speedway on June 6th and a return to All-American Speedway on September 26th

Both of the All-American Speedway events will be 127 laps in distance and will pay $7,000 to the winner.   The Stockton Speedway event will be 227 laps, will pay $2,000 to the leader at the lap 127 break and will pay $10,000 to the winner.  Additionally, JM Environmental will supply each team that makes the 24-car starting field at Stockton with two Hoosier tires for the event.

What may be the biggest news, is that there will be a $5,000 bonus in place for each of the three races.  Any driver who qualifies in the top eight, elects to start at the rear of the field and wins the race will earn the bonus.  If the bonus is not paid out at the first All-American Speedway event, then it will increase to $10,000 at Stockton.  If no driver claims the bonus at Stockton, then the bonus will increase to $15,000 for the second All-American Speedway event.  This bonus will be paid in addition to the winner’s prize money.

“Load both barrels…It’s going to be a double-get-down throwdown!” stated JM Environmental’s owner, John Moore.

In addition to the $45,000 in bonuses that could be paid out over the three races, JM Environmental will also be providing a unique trophy that will be presented to each winner.  The JM Environmental Wild West Shootout events will also feature some special race procedures, including “Competition Cautions” every 40 green flag laps (except for the final 25 laps), no invert after qualifying and no single file restarts.

“We can’t thank John (Moore) and JM Environmental enough for stepping up to really help celebrate our 20thseason.  The amount of prize and bonus money that they are putting up for the teams is staggering, which is going to lead to some exciting events for the race fans.” commented the SPEARS Southwest Tour Series’ Brian Olsen.  “We feel that these types of events will propel the series in 2020 and put it on course for a record year.”
