Kenna Mitchell Takes on Spears Pro Late Model Field at AAS

Bakersfield, CA – Kenna Mitchell is coming off a top-10 finish at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway (CA) last weekend. She will make the quick turnaround to head to her home track ALL AMERICAN SPEEDWAY – ROSEVILLE CA this weekend. Mitchell will seek her first Spears Manufacturing Pro Late Model Series victory on March 23rd, after winning her only weekly racing series Pro Late Model start at the 1/3-mile asphalt oval in 2023. Mitchell will be making her third start in the travelling series, after the season opening “All-Star Showdown 100” at Irwindale Speedway (CA) was lost to rain.
Mitchell participated in three of the five JM Environmental Wild West Super Series events at All American Speedway in 2023. She finished in the top-five in each event for the Super Late Models. Mitchell made her Spears Pro Late Model Series debut in 2022, bringing home a third-place finish at Irwindale Speedway. As she heads back to her home track, she is confident in having a great finish and challenging for the win at the series 2024 season opener.
“Going into this weekend at All American Speedway (AAS), I’m looking forward to seeing all the fans”, Mitchell stated. “I love racing at my home track. My expectations for this weekend are to qualify on the pole and go out and win the race! I’ve run a lot of laps at AAS, because I’ve been racing Late Models there since I was 14. I’m hoping to put on a good show for my sponsor Berco Redwoods.”
Mitchell will take on some of the regulars at All American Speedway, as well as the visiting Pro Late Model stars from the Spears Pro Late Model Series on Saturday March 23rd in the “Spears Manufacturing 60”. It will be the 70th opening night for the Placer County Fairgrounds facility.
Celebrating its twenty fourth season in 2024, the SPEARS Southwest Tour Series is a regional stock car series competing on paved ovals in the southwestern portion of the U.S. “The SPEARS Southwest Tour Series…Where the Champions Race”.
