Kyle Keller turns 16-years-old today, and to celebrate, he has entered the $30,000-to-win “Sunrise Ford All-Star Showdown presented by the West Coast Stock Car Hall of Fame” on February 6th. Keller will make his debut in the Spears Srl Southwest Tour Series at Irwindale Speedway, as he begins his Rookie-of-the-Year effort, in the former Joe Farre’ GARC Super Late Model.

Keller was the 2019 Spears Modified Series Rookie-of-the-Year runner-up, finishing just two points behind Travis Mccullough. He finished fourth in the overall series standings with six top-10’s in nine series events. At the LVMS Bullring and Dirt Track he scored the Rookie-of-the-Year honors in the 602 Modifieds, while finishing in the top-five in the standings. In 2020, Keller made his debut in ARCA Menards Pro Series West, scoring fourth and sixth-place finishes.

In addition, Keller has experience in the Junior Late Models, Pro Late Models, Super Late Models, and is a two-time winner in the Challenge Cup cars at Madera Speedway. The “Wild Child” will now step into his Super Late Model and head to Irwindale Speedway for the “Sunrise Ford All-Star Showdown 200” for the SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series. The event promises to be the biggest event of his young career.

“My thoughts on making my first SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series start are that I’m so glad to get the opportunity to run against 40 or more good racers, from all over the country”, Keller stated. “Only being 16, running against really fast guys, I believe is a gift from the people around me. I’m so thankful and happy to get this opportunity!”

Keller would like to express his thanks to those who have made this opportunity possible, to race against many the best drivers on the West Coast at one of the best short tracks in the country.

“I have to thank all the amazing people that are so generous to help me and my team get to the track, every single race”, Keller conveyed! “I would really like to thank my sponsors; Battle Born Racing, Olson Iron, Las Vegas Rentals, Sunrise Enterprise, CSM Graphics KKR (Kyle Keller Racing), The Bohanon Family Trust, Able Electric, Competition Carburetors, DiMarzo’s Gears, SIGMA Support, Franks Radio Service, Aqua Perfect, Jones Racing Products, Bilstein Shock Absorbers, and TKO Kustumz.”

With the help of Bob Bruncati and the West Coast Stock Car Hall of Fame, the 2021 “Sunrise Ford All-Star Showdown 200” will pay $30,000 to the winner of the 200-lap feature event at Irwindale Speedway. The Spears Pro Late Models presented by Sigma Performance Services, as well as the Spears Modified Series will join the action, racing for $15,000 and $5,000, respectively. An optional Test Day is slated for Thursday, with the official Practice Day getting underway on Friday.

Saturday will see the Super Late Models practice from 11:45 AM to 12:30 PM, with Qualifying for all divisions beginning at 2:30 PM. The Modifieds will go first followed by the Pro Late Models and Super Late Models. Opening Ceremonies are slated for 4:30 PM, with “B”-Main Events set for 5:00 PM. The “Pro Late Model Showdown 150”, “Modified All-Star Showdown 100”, and the “Sunrise Ford All-Star Showdown 200” will follow.
