NASCAR XFINITY DRIVER DYLAN LUPTON ENTERS SUNDAY’S ‘BULWARK FR 175’
Dylan Lupton has announced his intensions to participate in this weekend’s Spears Srl Southwest Tour Series “Bulwark FR 175 presented by Coleman Powersports“. The “Bulwark FR October Classic Weekend” will take place on October 27 & 28 at Kern County Raceway and include the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West, which will open the weekend on Saturday.
Lupton is a former NASCAR K&N Pro Series West competitor, who finished as its championship runner-up in 2014. Lupton has multiple wins in the West Series, for the Bob Bruncati Racing Team. Lupton has four NASCAR Monster Energy Cup starts, to go along with 35 NASCAR XFINITY Series starts. 11 of those starts were this season, for JGL Racing. He also has participated in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and the ARCA Racing Series.
The Wilton, CA driver has been out of the driver’s seat for over four months, so he is excited to get back behind the wheel of his new Super Late Model, purchased from Wilson Motorsports.
“This last weekend was the first time I was able to hop back in a car since early June”, Lupton told the SPEARS Southwest Tour Series. “We felt like the test was a success, for our first time working with the new car, so we decided to come out and race with the SRL Series this upcoming weekend.”
This weekend’s event will pay $7,000 to the winner, thanks to our friends at FLUIDYNE High Performance and AKM Maintenance, and will be Lupton’s first start with the SRL.
“The SRL Series has always been a very competitive series on the West Coast, and I’m looking forward to dicing it up with the series regulars, at one of my favorite tracks”, Lupton offered. “A big thanks goes out to everyone that made this weekend possible, including Lupton Excavation and especially Fatal Clothing for their continued support.”
