ROCHA SCORES MADERA PRO LATE WIN
Congratulations to Spears Srl Southwest Tour Series Championship contender Blaine Rocha, for his victory in the Madera Speedway RPM Mortgage Pro Late Model race. Rocha led 2018 Winter Showdownparticipant Austin Herzog, and SRL Rookie of the Year Contender Jack Wood, to take his first Madera Speedway Pro Late Model win. Rocha is coming off a seventh place finish, in his last SRL race, at Kern County Raceway, to sit 13th in the current championship standings.
The Fresno State Flyer will be gunning for his second SRL victory at the Bullring @ Las Vegas Motor Speedway, when the series visits this weekend (May 5th) for the $10,000 to win Retro Custom Metals 150. Rocha won the season finale at the same facility in 2016, and followed that up with a win at Kern County Raceway in 2017. Rocha would like to thank Masroc Farms and Scott Masellis for their continued support, as he looks for his first SRL Championship.
