Spears Manufacturing Expands Sponsorship of the SRL in 2024
Bakersfield, CA (January 3, 2024) – Spears Manufacturing will expand their commitment to the SRL for 2024 and beyond. Spears Manufacturing, a world leader in plastic piping products, has been involved in American motorsports for over five decades, including fielding their own race teams in the NASCAR Southwest Tour Series, ARCA Menards Series, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and NASCAR Cup Series. Additionally, Spears Manufacturing has been the title sponsor of the SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series since 2009.
With the support of Spears Manufacturing, the SRL Southwest Tour has grown from a regional Super Late Model touring series in the southwest to a nationally recognized short track series which competes on the west coast with three separate series including the SRL Southwest Tour Series, Pro Late Model Series, and Modified Series with extensive national television coverage provided by MAVTV.
For 2024 and beyond, Spears Manufacturing has announced their continued commitment to motorsports by maintaining their series title sponsorship of the SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series, the SPEARS Pro Late Model Series and the SPEARS Manufacturing Modified Series.
Also, for 2024 Spears Manufacturing will become the title sponsor of the SRL National Super Late Model Tour. Ricky Brooks’ idea of a National Super Late Model Tour in 2021 lead to the partnership of the SRL and Brooks to form what will now be known as the “SPEARS SRL National Late Model Tour” in 2024 and beyond.
“It is hard to put in to words the appreciation we have for Spears Manufacturing,”, stated the SRL’s Larry Collins. “Over the past 14 years, Wayne and Connie Spears have allowed us the opportunity to represent their company as the title sponsor of our race series. Ricky, Brian (Olsen), and I have taken that responsibility in the highest regard and have tried to run our race series to the high standards that Spears Manufacturing has set in their own industry.”
For 2024, the SPEARS SRL National Tour will compete in 11 events from coast to coast. The SPEARS Southwest Tour Series, Pro Late Model Series, and Modified Series will collectively compete in 24 events.

The SPEARS SRL National Super Late Model Tour, SPEARS Southwest Tour Series, SPEARS SRL Pro Late Model Series, and SPEARS Manufacturing Modified Series will all begin their 2024 race seasons on February 3rd at Irwindale Speedway for the ‘All-Star Showdown’.
