SRL National Schedule for Asphalt Super Late Models Expands in 2024
Bakersfield, CA (December 22, 2023) – For 2024, the ‘SRL National Super Late Model Tour’ will expand its footprint to seven states, with five new venues added to the schedule for a total of ten championship events, plus a charity event at Auburndale Speedway in December.
The ‘SRL National Tour’ has established itself as a true national circuit for asphalt Super Late Models, hosting races from California to Florida.
“We started the SRL National Tour because our race teams asked for it, and as Ricky (Brooks), Brian (Olsen) and I planned for the upcoming season, the teams asked for more dates, so we delivered with eleven dates in ’24.” stated the SRL’s Larry Collins
Georgia’s Bubba Pollard was crowned the 2023 SRL National champion. Pollard had wins at ‘The Rattler’ at South Alabama Speedway, the “Davidson Electric 125” at Mobile, and a $30,000 pay day at the “Battle at Berlin”. Following Pollard in the 2023 SRL National rankings were Californians Jeremy Doss and Jacob Gomes, with Ty Majeski and Eric Jones rounding out the top five. The balance of the top 10 included John Moore, Kyle Crump, Stephen Nasse, Jett Noland, and Gio Ruggiero. A total of 133 teams competed with the SRL National in 2023.
For 2024, the states of Alabama, California, Colorado, Florida, Michigan, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania are represented on the SRL National Super Late Model Tour schedule. 2024 race dates include;
February 3rd ‘All-Star Showdown 200’ – Irwindale Speedway
March 17th ‘The Rattler 250’ – South Alabama Speedway
June 1st ‘Carolina 125’ – New River All American Speedway
June 12th ‘Money in the Bank 150’ – Berlin Raceway
June 15th ‘Love’s Travel Center 150’ – Owosso Speedway
July 11th ‘Motor Mountain Masters 150’ – Jennerstown Speedway
August 7th ‘Battle at Berlin 250’ – Berlin Raceway
August 17th ‘Southwest National 150’ – Colorado National Speedway
September 7th ‘The Bigley Memorial Tune Up 125’ – The Freedom Factory
November 30th ‘Bill Bigley Sr. Memorial 128’ – The Freedom Factory
December 22nd ‘ CARS Racin’ for a Dream 100’ – Auburndale Speedway**
