UPDATES and HELPFUL INFORMATION: January 12, 2023
- DECALS FOR SUPER LATE MODELS – Attached is the 2023 SPEARS Southwest Tour Series Contingency Decal Layout and instructions. If you would like the file so you can include the decals as part of your wrap, please click link below to download. Reminder: All decals must be in proper locations to receive any prize money and championship points. Decals packs will be available on race weekend.

- DUPLICATE CAR NUMBERS – Cars running the same number is allowed, but each car will be required to display a minimum four-inch first letter of the drivers last name low and behind the car number on each side. This will be required before you pass tech inspection.
- PARKING – If you have any further requests, please let Ricky Brooks know as soon as possible, rickybrooks5@aol.com, but no later than this Sunday. If you need to unhook from your trailer during the race weekend, please let us know. Every team will have a pre-assigned parking spot for the weekend. Teams on site on Thursday will be parked in their proper spot.
- FUEL – SUNOCO 110 is the spec fuel for the SPEARS Southwest Tour Series and Spears Manufacturing Modified Series. Reserve your fuel for race weekend at competitors@irwindalespeedway.com or 626-358-1100. It is each team’s responsibility to have your own fuel supply for the event.
- E85 – E85 will not be available at Irwindale Speedway. SUNOCO E85 is allowed in the SPEARS SRL Pro Late Model Series. Bring your own fuel supply for the event.
- SUSPENSION UPDATES:
- SUSPENSION: Preston Peltier
For actions detrimental to the sport and the race series, Preston Peltier will be suspended from any event sanctioned by the SRL until May 10th, 2023.
- REINSTATEMENT: Junior Joiner
Junior Joiner is reinstated to compete in SRL events.
