UPDATES and REMINDERS: Kern
“BULWARK FR 50/50 presented by SPEARS Manufacturing”
MAVTV: This race will be nationally televised by MAVTV.
RACE DISTANCE: Two 50 lap Segements: Best combined overall finish from the two segments will be the event winner. Teams will have 15 minutes to make adjustments and fuel the cars after segment #1.
BACKGATE FEES:

NO CREW CHIEF MEETING: To streamline Friday’s schedule, there will be no scheduled Crew Chief Meeting on Friday, teams will receive the Crew Chief hand out by email this week. If you have any questions regarding the handout, please contact Ricky Brooks directly at 850-324-6821.
QUALIFYING FRIDAY NIGHT: Qualifying for the event will take place on Friday night at 10pm, cars will be impounded overnight, overnight security will be in place.
ENGINE TECH: If your engine or carb needs to be inspected and sealed, please respond to this email or contact Ricky Brooks directly at 850-324-6821.
TIRES: YOU MAY USE YOUR DESIGNATED RACE SET OF TIRES FOR MOCK QUALIFYING RUNS DURING THE 7:00 – 7:45 PRACTICE SESSION.
WHEEL NUMBERS: Your race wheels need a car number and a ‘L’ or ‘R’ decal on all wheels to help Hoosier better serve your team.
FUEL:Kern County Raceway does carry SUNOCO 110.
PARKING: The Top 15 in the 2019 SPEARS Southwest Tour Series championship, and their teammates will park in order in the first spots. If you need to park by someone specific, you must call or email that information to us by Wednesday of race week.
Unhook– please let us know if you need to unhook your truck from your trailer on Friday.
MUFFLERS:Series Rules – A muffler (not just an insert) must be usedand installed in a configuration that will suppress exhaust noise to a maximum of 99db’s at 100 feet.
