Zach Telford to Make Second SRL Start at the Bullring

Middleton, ID driver Zachary Telford will join a growing contingent of Super Late Model drivers from the Pacific Northwest, at the LVMS Bullring and Dirt Track, for the $10,000-to-Win “Retro Custom Metals 137” on November 21st. The penultimate event of the Spears Srl Southwest Tour season will feature a battle between the Northwest stars, the Bullring stars, and the stars of the SRL, in addition to several Colorado National Speedway hot shoes. Telford will be looking to score a solid finish in his first SRL start at the Bullring.

Telford made his SPEARS Southwest Tour Series debut at ALL AMERICAN SPEEDWAY – ROSEVILLE CA driving for the Garcia Racing Team in August. Telford came away with a 10th place finish in the event, in the 22-car field. Telford will be back for his second event, but in his families Pathfinder Chassis ZTR (Zach Telford Racing) Super Late Model.

Zach began racing when he was 10 years-old, starting in the Box Stock Outlaw Karts in 2014. He has over 60 career wins, including seven in 2019 alone, in the Late Model and Modified Divisions. He has accumulated five wins in the 2020 season to date. He would love to add to that total, against some of the best competition on the West Coast, but Zach would be happy to run all the laps and get some good experience.

“I am very excited to be able to race against the top competition at the Bullring in Vegas, and I will just do my best and try to keep her in one piece”, Telford stated.

Heading from Idaho to Las Vegas, Zach and the ZTR Team are thankful to those who make the trip possible.

“I would like to thank everyone who supports me and my racing”, Telford relayed. “I would like to thank my sponsors; Project Filter – Idaho Fights Tobacco, Builders FirstSource, MADC, Conrad Bishoffs, and James Hardie.”

The “Retro Custom Metals 137” will be run on November 21st, with $10,000 going to the winner thanks to David Mulcahy (Homie).
