At this time, we have been advised that no truck and trailers over 65 feet in total length should utilize Highway 101 to access Eureka.

Options:

  1. If your rig is over length, you may contact Richard at Redwood Towing, , they will tow your trailer through Richardson’s Grove with a short tractor designed to get over length trailers through Richardson’s Grove.

  1. Utilize a route north of Eureka.

Sorry for any inconvenience, initially we were advised that our rigs would be exempt from any restriction, but after speaking extensively with Cal Trans and the CHP, the bottom line is rigs over 65 feet are not allowed by their regulations to pass through Richardson’s Grove.
